Septic pumping, repair, and installation in Houston.

Inside the city limits most homes are on sewer — but across unincorporated Harris County, tens of thousands of properties run on septic. We service all of them: conventional tanks, aerobic systems, and everything from a routine pump-out to a full replacement.

LOCAL DETAIL

Septic service across the Houston metro

Harris County has more permitted on-site sewage facilities than any county in Texas, and the rules that govern them are enforced by the county rather than the city. That means the permitting path for a Houston-area install runs through Harris County Public Health, and the maintenance reporting for an aerobic system goes there too. We file both.

Houston clay is the other local fact that matters. Heavy gumbo soil percolates slowly, so drain fields here are sized larger than the state minimum and are more prone to saturation after a wet stretch. When we quote a repair on a struggling field, we tell you whether it is a saturation problem that will recover or a failure that will not.

FAQ

Houston questions

Local specifics we get asked about most in this part of the metro.

Do I need a Harris County permit to replace my system?

Yes. Any new or replacement on-site sewage facility in unincorporated Harris County needs a permit and a licensed installer. We handle the site evaluation, design, submittal, and final inspection.

My house is inside Houston city limits — am I on septic?

Most likely not, but pockets of septic exist inside the city, particularly in older annexed areas. If you have a lid or a control panel in the yard, you are on septic. Call and we will tell you what you have.

How does Houston clay affect my drain field?

Clay drains slowly, so fields here are built larger and saturate faster after heavy rain. A field that surfaces during a wet week is often recoverable; one that surfaces in dry weather usually is not.

Do you work with builders on new construction?

Regularly. We coordinate design and install around the grading and utility schedule so the county inspection is not what holds up your certificate of occupancy.
